“Stayed for two nights, as I had brought out some Amish folks to go to a nearby clinic. Room was very clean, water was hot and pressure was good in the shower. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but for eggs and sausage gravy and biscuits it was good. They have a waffle machine, cereal, as well as yogurts in a small fridge. I had left an energy drink in the rooms fridge, and returned an hr or so later and the cleaning lady hadn't thrown it out yet... As their policy is to chuck everything left in the rooms. Well she went to her cart and retrieved the energy drink for me! I needed it as we drove straight back to Lancaster PA that day.”
“Nicely set just outside edge of the areas main attractions. Wonderful dining area for breakfast love the pool and staff is great about allowing use after check out for kids to get some extra time in for swimming. Also have jacuzzi suites if you enjoy personal time alone to make your stay even more enjoyable.”
“I've stayed at this hotel at least six times(The Van Buren Hotel). My wife Angi and I Love this place. This is our escape from the rat race from the rat race of the Ann Arbor Michigan area. We enjoy the layed back life of this Amish sanctuaryand what made our stay especially nice is the girls at the front desk. Their names are Cassondra and Andrea. They were so nice and accommodating. That is why my wife and I won't stay anywhere else. This is an amazing hotel..so clean and wonderful with the clippity clop of Amish horse and carriages passing by. It's a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this place and ask for Cassondra or Andrea. They're Amazing!”
